Verónica Gerber Bicecci (Mexico City, 1981) defines herself as a "visual artist who writes". She graduated in fine arts from the ENPEG, La Esmeralda, and obtained a master’s degree in art history from the UNAM. So far, she has published two books: in 2010 Mudanza (Moving Out) and in 2015 Conjunto vacío (Empty Set), which earned her the Aura Estrada International Literature Award. Verónica Gerber is also editor at the small publishing house Tumbona Ediciones, an heterodox project on experimental writing and art intersections: www.tumbonaediciones.com. Some of her visual projects are Biblioteca ciega (Blind library), Poema invertido (Inverted poem), Conferencia secreta (Secret lecture) and Los hablantes (The speakers).
