Judith Hermann

Judith Hermann was born in 1970 in Berlin, where she lives and works as a writer. Her first book, Sommerhaus, später [Summerhouse, later] was an international bestseller and translated into twelve languages. It was published in the US by Ecco Press. Her new collection of short stories, Nichts als Gespenster, will be published in 2005.
