Susan Elderkin

Susan Elderkin was born in Sussex, England in 1968. She studied at Cambridge and at the University of East Anglia. Her first novel Sunset Over Chocolate Mountains (2001) won a Betty Trask Award. Her second novel The Voices was shortlisted for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award and the Royal Society of Literature Ondaatje Prize. In 2003 Granta named her one of the best British novelists of the decade.
